His unwavering passion for healthcare innovation through the power of IT led him to play a pivotal role in founding CROee in 2005 (now 3H Clinical Trial Co., Ltd.), blazing the trail by developing an unparalleled subject recruitment system. Recognized for his exceptional vision and expertise, he ascended to the position of President in 2009, solidifying his authority in the industry.

As of May 2023, he has taken on an additional role as the President of 3H Medi-solutions Co., Ltd., a testament to his relentless drive and unwavering commitment to shaping the future of healthcare.

Embarking on a journey as a pharmaceutical clinical development professional, Kenta Kachi identified subject enrolment as the crucial bottleneck in the realm of drug development. Motivated by this realization, he made a career transition to CROee (now 3H Medi Solution). In 2015.

He launched the cancer information website “Oncolo,” followed by the launching of another ground-breaking launch of “Rare’s” an information hub dedicated to rare diseases in 2017. With relentless passion, he set out to revolutionize the flow of clinical trial information for cancer and rare diseases.

In 2018, Kachi’s insatiable curiosity led him to embrace the captivating world of health tech. Empowered by his expertise, he took the helm, spearheading the strategic planning and development of a transformative ePRO solution, “3H P-Guardian,” and the pioneering clinical trial consultation system, “Insight Gateway.” Recognized for his visionary leadership, he ascended to the position of Director as well in May 2023.

Since 2009, Daisuke Maki has been an integral member of the founding team at CROee Co., Ltd. He has provided support for subject recruitment in over 300 clinical trials. From the early days of the company’s establishment, he has continuously advocated for the awareness and promotion of subject recruitment activities in Japan. In November 2017, recognizing the need to establish proper information provision and operational processes in clinical trials, he initiated the “PRO Council,” composed of four leading companies in the industry. As the current chairman of the council, he engages with regulatory authorities and industry organizations, solidifying his position as a leading figure in subject recruitment in Japan.

In November 2018, driven by CROee Group’s mission to create a society where everyone can live authentically, Daisuke Maki assumed the role of Director at the 3H Life Science Research Institute. With expertise gained in the field of clinical trials, he spearheads research endeavours aimed at applying knowledge to improve human health and well-being. Furthermore, his experience as a psychological counsellor contributes to his involvement in clinical development within the central nervous system domain.
